Aggro
System
Who will get the loot?
In the game, the Aggro system and within it the Aggro points determine how angry a monster or boss is at you and who will get the loot when it is defeated. If your character is at the top of the Aggro Meter during the battle, the boss will attack you.
Aggro value
Most offensive skills in the game have their own Aggro value. The higher the level of a skill, the more aggro points it gives.
Some skills are able to increase Aggro by a large amount of points during the battle (like ostentation), while others deliberately reduce them so that aggressive monsters are more peaceful and do not attack our character (like deterrence).
Aggro abilities vary from class to class, so it's important to have good in-game tactics and coordinated team play during the Boss fight. The so-called "tank" characters typically have higher HP and Aggro, so the boss will attack them while a player of another class can deal more damage. Meanwhile, another class supports the others with strong buffs.
Aggro points add up with each attack, so in addition to the aggro value of skills, the speed also plays a key role.
Aggro Meter
In the aggro meter window you can check your current aggro points while fighting a boss. The player or his/her party that collects the most aggro points and is at the top of the list gets the loot at the end.
You can see your own character's name in a slightly different color in this list so it doesn't distract you from the battle.
The Aggro Meter only measures aggro points against Sub-Boss (4-star) or Big/World-Boss (5-star) opponents.
If you don't want to use it and are bothered by the new Aggro-meter button, you can turn it off in the game menu.
